Who we are:

 

MAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the objective to "foster communication between individuals and groups engaged in hand weaving and hand spinning."  

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in preserving, promoting, and learning about fiber arts.  This includes, but is not limited to, hand spinning, hand weaving, felting, basketry, bead work, sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet work, tatting, or any other method of creating and embellishing textiles.

Membership privileges include the biannual conference, MAWS newsletter, and access to great workshops.  The annual membership fee is $10. You can join through your local guild or as an individual if you do not belong to a member guild.
